Task
Bad Bunny and The Team from Sturdy reached out to us to concept and execute 3 songs in the Bad Bunny Stadium Tour. We had the pleasure to help support Bad Bunny in his Stadium Tour and create concert visuals for 3 songs in the show for a total of 10 minutes of content. We took a mixed media approach to the art blending illustration, design, cel animation and 3D animation. It was a sincere honor to work with so many talented folks on this project and we are very excited to share this blast of mystical vibrant visuals.
Our Approach
We were faced with the task of creating 10 minutes of content to be played on very large stadium displays, sync to the music, and be hypnotizing in its nature. We got creative and split the team up into a full multi-media approach. We had designers creating the individual characters and layouts, 2d cel animators creating custom character loops, 3d designers making syncopated scenes, and a group of compositors bringing everything together into a visual orchestra. Although these videos were not seen in every show on the tour the ones lucky enough to experience this will be glad they did.
